Eddie Litton has been an attorney, general counsel, and business advisor for more than thirty years, counseling companies of all sizes in the public and private sectors, including startup ventures. His clients have come from a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, retail sales, technology, energy, transportation, software development and sales, media, and personal service. Eddie believes in a hands-on approach to assisting clients, getting to know and understand their business and the opportunities and challenges they face.

He regularly works with clients on commercial agreements and transactions, including software as a service agreements, M&A, employment and labor matters, cross border and international contracts, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate structure, and joint venture relationships.

Prior to joining Outside GC, Eddie served as general counsel for Extrusion Group, LLC, a startup machine manufacturing company selling machines domestically and internationally, travelling frequently to China to negotiate machine purchase agreements and joint venture arrangements. He also served as general counsel and senior vice president of human resources for Cellu Tissue Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer and seller of private label consumer paper products. In these roles, Eddie handled the full range of legal matters facing any business, from equipment and real estate leases to corporate financing and an initial public offering.

Before going in-house, Eddie practiced law at Hunton & Williams in Dallas, Texas; Troutman Sanders in Atlanta, Georgia; and Carlton Fields in Tampa, Florida, representing large multinational companies in employment, labor, and workplace safety matters. He regularly appeared in federal and state courts and before administrative and regulatory agencies on behalf of his clients, and, alongside his litigation and arbitration experience, has extensive experience representing clients in pre- and post-suit dispute resolution and mediation.

Eddie earned his law degree from Stetson University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling and visiting wineries with his wife, Kimberly.
