Alex Goldsmith has spent more than 20 years almost exclusively advising healthcare providers, including nearly half of his 30-year legal career serving as General Counsel and Associate General Counsel for two large healthcare systems. Alex brings deep experience across legal, compliance, and risk management matters in support of business operations and objectives, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating healthcare agreements; developing administrative and clinical processes, policies and procedures; appealing payment denials; and conducting internal investigations. Over the past decade, Alex has focused on providing direct, day-to-day legal support to hospitals on operational matters, provider issues, and the delivery of care. When challenges arise in the delivery of inpatient care or in managing provider relationships, Alex brings practical, firsthand experience to help address them efficiently and effectively.

Alex serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and volunteers regularly at a local food pantry and homeless shelter. He is also an avid reader of literary fiction and is a meditation and mindfulness enthusiast.
