Professional Summary
As the Senior Director of Attorney Acquisition at OGC, Catherine leverages her knowledge of the legal industry to identify and hire top talent for the firm. She utilizes over 20 years of talent acquisition and management experience to develop and execute proactive recruitment initiatives focused on furthering OGC’s strategic hiring goals.
Prior to joining OGC, Catherine was the Director of Legal Recruiting for a global law firm, where she oversaw the recruitment of new lateral partners and associates, managed relationships with recruiting agencies and consultants, led the firmwide summer associate and entry-level law student hiring programs, and worked closely on onboarding, integration, inclusion, and professional development initiatives. She is active in and a former Board of Directors member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP).
In addition to her legal recruiting experience, Catherine also worked at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as an Associate Director for Career Development, where she coached full-time MBA students on career strategies and developed and led career management programming, workshops, and events. Earlier in her career, she worked in legal recruiting for two international law firms in Washington D.C.
Catherine graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Journalism and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Catherine lives in North Carolina with her husband, two young sons, and two rescue beagles. When she’s not chasing her two tiny humans around a playground, she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time at the beach, Peloton rides, fantasy football, and watching Michigan sports (Go Blue!).
