Christopher Korst is a trusted legal advisor and regulatory affairs strategist with more than two decades of experience in franchising, corporate transactions, consumer finance, and regulatory compliance. Chris blends legal rigor with pragmatic business insight, regularly guiding clients through contract negotiations, risk management, and litigation strategy. His counsel helps companies move forward with confidence in both growth and compliance.

Prior to joining OGC, Chris served as Chief Legal Officer for two of the largest restaurant franchise owner-operators in the United States, advising on franchising, real estate, development, asset purchases, licensing, supply chain, litigation and human resources compliance. Previously, he held two C-suite roles at a publicly traded international consumer finance company, serving first as Executive Vice President of Operations, where he managed more than 3,000 locations and 15,000 employees with full P&L responsibility, and later as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing legal, HR, compliance, and public policy functions. In these roles, he combined operational and legal leadership to help the company navigate complex consumer-finance, privacy, labor, and global regulatory frameworks while partnering with industry groups and policymakers to shape practical regulatory standards.

Chris resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife, Clare and Daisy, their Golden Retriever. Chris and Clare have 3 children – a son, Andrew, who is a lobbyist in Washington, DC; a daughter, Caroline, a human resources senior director in Salt Lake City; and her twin sister, Genevieve, a neurosurgeon in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she lives with her husband Hunter. Chris plays golf, hunts and fishes, and loves to cook and travel with Clare.
