Len McGill brings over thirty years of experience providing practical, risk-based legal and strategic counsel to public and private companies, including startups and emerging growth companies, across a range of industries. With a background spanning both law firm and in-house roles, including serving as General Counsel to public companies, Len offers a unique blend of legal insight and business acumen.

At Outside GC, Len advises emerging growth companies as well as boards and senior management at larger companies, investment funds and family offices. He assists clients with a broad range of legal matters, including formation and governance; mergers and acquisitions; capital raising and venture capital (SAFEs, convertible notes, preferred rounds); commercial transactions and contracts; and day-to-day legal and strategic advice. In addition to his practice, Len is also an active angel investor in early stage startups, and serves as a Board member for several non-profit organizations.
