Margaret Scheele is an accomplished employment attorney with thirty years of combined private practice and in-house experience. Drawing on her experience as a former in-house counsel, Margaret’s practice includes the full range of advice and counseling work that arises in the employment context, including performance management, discipline, termination, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodation, pay transparency, and reductions in force. She also drafts and negotiates employment agreements and documents, including executive compensation, separation/severance agreements, business protection agreements and variable compensation plans; investigates and responds to pre-litigation demands and charges of discrimination; drafts employee handbooks and personnel policies; develops and presents management and human resources training programs on employment law compliance, including anti-harassment training; and conducts internal investigations for clients involving allegations of discrimination and harassment.

Margaret and her husband (also an attorney) are the proud parents of two wonderful sons, Sam and Ben. Margaret loves to travel (especially to the National Parks) and enjoys reading, walking, hiking, attending the theater, and spending time with family and friends.
