Prior to joining Outside GC, Berry held in-house legal roles across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and precision medicine sectors, giving her firsthand insight into the legal and operational challenges companies face as they move from R&D through clinical development and commercialization.
She spent seven years with EMD Serono, the biopharmaceutical division of Merck KGaA (Germany), supporting legal matters across the company’s U.S. operations before serving as Deputy General Counsel for SOTIO, an international biotechnology company focused on the clinical development of oncology immunotherapy technologies, and later advising KEW, Inc., a genomic profiling company developing bioinformatics technologies for cancer treatment.
Berry started her legal career with Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP in Boston in their general corporate practice.
Berry is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas Law School (Austin) and is also a certified mediator. Berry earned her B.A. in History, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Berry is fluent in Spanish and worked in Central and South America prior to law school. She is an active parent in the Canton, Massachusetts public schools, and she enjoys traveling with her family in Latin America.
