Matt Atlas is a seasoned General Counsel and senior legal executive with 20+ years of experience advising leading global companies on complex legal, compliance, and risk management matters. Known for delivering practical, business-focused solutions, Matt has steered companies through high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, collective bargaining negotiations, and bankruptcy proceedings. He has secured more than $100MM in insurance recoveries, built and scaled in-house legal teams, and implemented governance frameworks that strengthen compliance and mitigate risk.

Matt is an elected local official, previously serving on his town school board and currently as a town councilman. His passions include golf, tennis (played at Cornell), reading and college basketball (especially Kentucky, his home state). Matt currently lives in New Jersey with his wife, three sons (identical twins are away at college) and his frequent office dog, Beckham.
