Billie leads the Firm’s Retail, Marketing & Social Media practice.

Billie is a trusted General Counsel with over 22 years of global experience advising C-suite executives across the technology, retail, and consumer goods sectors. As a partner with Outside GC, she specializes in steering litigation matters toward commercial resolutions and negotiating high-stakes commercial transactions—spanning SaaS, licensing, and supply chain management—to add tangible corporate value. Known for her collaborative energy and adaptability, Billie seamlessly integrates into leadership teams to offer well-reasoned guidance and deliver strategic legal solutions in a calm manner.

Beyond her legal practice, Billie is a thought leader, authoring the “Contracts Corner” column for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and having created and taught International Intellectual Property Law at Vermont Law School. With extensive experience in the United Kingdom and Europe, she brings valuable international acumen to her work. Deeply dedicated to her community, Billie serves on the board of the Upper Valley Aquatic Center and holds leadership positions on the Parent Committees at Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College.

An accomplished athlete, Billie has served for over a decade with the ski patrol and as an instructor at Okemo Mountain Resort and enjoys playing tennis. She and her family live in northern New England with their dog, Bode.
