Patrick Reutens has 30 years of legal and business experience representing public and private companies within the technology sector. Patrick’s practice focuses on helping companies accomplish their business and strategic objectives, based on a deep understanding of their business models, products, competitors, and target markets. He has extensive experience with a wide range of commercial, corporate, and financing transactions and has worked on many complex cross-border transactions and supported subsidiaries and global business operations throughout Europe and Asia. In addition, Patrick has built and managed multiple corporate patent portfolios, and has successfully managed commercial, securities, intellectual property, and labor litigation.

Patrick started his career as a technology transactions lawyer at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati and the Venture Law Group, where he worked with a wide range of software, hardware, biotech and medical device companies.  He went in-house as the Director of Licensing at MIPS Techologies, and subsequently led the legal department in five Silicon Valley companies operating in the semiconductor, high-speed connectivity, mobile and content distribution sectors.  He lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
