He helps organizations attract, retain, and deploy global talent by developing practical immigration strategies that support workforce planning, business growth, and regulatory compliance.
Edward works closely with clients ranging in size from small start-ups to global Fortune-listed companies on a broad range of temporary and permanent immigration matters. His practice includes:
- Employment-based temporary visas (including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, and TN classifications)
- Permanent resident sponsorships through the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 categories for sponsored employees
- Natural interest waivers for self-sponsoring immigrations

His clients comprise industry leaders in the retail, software development, and finance fields, including QuickBase, GreenLight Biosciences, and Orion Services Group.
Prior to joining Outside GC in 2019, Edward built his business immigration practice through both Big Law and in-house legal roles. At Seyfarth Shaw LLP, a Chambers-ranked full service corporate law firm, Edward focused exclusively on business immigration matters, managing volume accounts for the firm’s clients, including a Fortune 200 company with a global footprint. He also partnered with HR leaders to align international recruitment efforts with evolving U.S. immigration requirements, maintain I-9 compliance, and develop comprehensive visa sponsorship policies.
As in-house immigration counsel at NTT DATA, Inc., a global IT services company, Edward partnered with U.S. and international HR teams to support the company’s global workforce, manage employment-based immigration matters, and identify opportunities to improve immigration sponsorship processes and operational efficiency.
Edward earned his J.D. at Northeastern University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Clark University. During law school, he served as a volunteer law clerk with the U.S. Immigration Court in Arlington, VA, and with Break the Chain Campaign, a nonprofit organization assisting victims of human trafficking. Edward is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Federal Bar Association’s Immigration Chapter.
Outside of work, Edward enjoys travelling throughout Southeast Asia and learning local recipes. A native of Bangor, Maine, he now lives in Waltham, MA with his partner.
